Complaint

Litigation requires a tremendous amount of time and capital. Litigation should begin with careful research and meticulous analysis of the case. The first step in the litigation process is preparing a complaint. In a complaint, the plaintiffs and defendants are identified in the caption, followed by the details of the case below it. The plaintiff should provide his own address, and it helps to know the address of the defendant. Even though we usually know the identities and addresses of the plaintiffs and defendants, including their business names, there are cases in which we do not know exactly who the defendant is. In this case, most attorneys will use names such as John Doe, Jane Doe, Mr. Doe, or Mrs. Doe in place of the actual name of the defendant.
In summary, the complaint is a document that describes the basic story of what happened between the plaintiff and the defendant and provides a list of the legal causes of action the plaintiff seeks to bring.

In summary, the complaint is a document that gives the outline of the case and the situations between the plaintiff and the defendant as well as a list of the cause of actions.
