Susan J. Finkenberg is an experienced trial, litigation, municipal and criminal law attorney. She has tried complex multimillion dollar commercial, civil RICO, civil rights and construction cases to verdict in both Federal and State Courts. In addition, she has tried innumerable criminal cases to verdict. She graduated from New York University with honors and Brooklyn Law School, where she clerked for Federal Magistrate Judge Harold Raby of the Southern District Court for the District of New York. During Law School, she worked as a Law Clerk in a private general litigation law firm and the New York City’s Department of Education’s legal department. Before joining the law firm of Kim & Bae, Ms. Finkenberg worked as a Brooklyn Assistant District Attorney, New York City Assistant Corporation Counsel, Executive Associate General Counsel with the Human Resources Administration of the City of New York. While she was with The Human Resources Administration, she supervised a team of attorneys and support staff to obtain child support orders and wrote complex advisory memoranda that became New York City Policy. Ms. Finkenberg has also worked in boutique law firms where she focused on guardianship, collections and general litigation. She also had her own general litigation practice. She is admitted to the Southern, Eastern, Northern and Western Federal District Courts of the State of New York, the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, the New York State Bar and the New York State Appellate Division 2nd Department. She will imminently be admitted to the Bar of New Jersey.
