T. Stephen Song is a Managing Partner of Kim & Bae, P. C. He heads Kim & Bae’s New York office. Mr. Song’s areas of expertise include complex commercial litigation (Contract Disputes, Partnership disputes, Employment Law, Real Estate Law, Collection, Commercial and Residential Landlord & Tenant Law, Labor Disputes, etc.), commercial transactions (Corporate Setup, Corporate Structuring, Residential and Commercial Real Estate Transaction, Corporate transaction, International and Domestic Franchise Agreements), and real estate transactions (Acquisition of hotels, farms, gas stations, churches, etc.).
Mr. Song started out as a Program Director at the Korean YMCA in Flushing and moonlighted as a Talk Show Host for Radio Korea, then the only Korean broadcasting radio station. His passion has always been to improve the lives of Korean-Americans and Korean-American community in the Tri-State area. Motivated by his interest to provide a more meaningful contribution to the Korean-American community, Mr. Song went on to law school and eventually became a lawyer. Prior to Kim & Bae, Mr. Song worked as an Associate at Grad & Weinraub, LLP, and as an In-House Counsel at Sprint Sites USA and as a Consultant to Pyramid Network Services. In June of 2004, Mr. Song founded Law Offices of T. Stephen Song, P.C. and has been operating his own legal practice ever since until last year, 2018, when he joined Kim & Bae, as the Managing Partner of Kim & Bae, P.C.
Mr. Song served as In-House counsel for Korean Seafood Association of New York, Korean Dry-Cleaners Association of Greater New York, Korean-American Senior Citizen’s Society of Greater New York, Korean-American Association of New Jersey and Korean-American Association of Greater New York. Mr. Song is recognized by the Korean-American community as the leading litigator for Not-for-Profit organizations in the greater New York area.
