Rachel Drake is an associate in Kim & Bae’s commercial litigation group. She focuses primarily on the representation of both international and domestic businesses and governmental agencies. Rachel also serves as the managing attorney of the firm’s bankruptcy practice group.
Her practice areas include complex contract litigation, business torts, Uniform Commercial Code, fraudulent transactions, construction disputes and real estate. Rachel has successfully tried cases at both the state and federal levels.
Prior to joining the firm, Rachel was a litigation associate with a firm specializing in consumer advocacy where she successfully litigated suits against national collection agencies and credit bureaus in federal courts throughout the U.S. Rachel began her legal career by founding her own solo practice, representing clients in fields including business formation and commercial litigation, contract negotiation, mortgage and tax lien foreclosures and real estate transactions and litigation.
Rachel received her B.A. from Colgate University and her J.D. from Pace University School of Law where she served as president of the Women’s Association of Law Students. She has devoted hundreds of hours to community service projects, including the initiation of a community garden for inner city families.
